On TBO.com, The Tampa Tribune reports, “A calendar filled with images of Florida’s most vulnerable landscapes and wildlife is out and designed to focus on the state’s faltering funding for conservation land purchases.”
The Trib also shares comments by LINC founder, Carlton Ward, and LINC Executive Director, Peg McPherson. “Land conservation is as fundamentally important today as it’s ever been, even in this economy,” says Ward. “What we want people to know is that Florida Forever is not dead,” stressed McPherson.

“This will be the fourth year that Florida’s leading conservation photographers will join forces to showcase conservation lands still needing to be saved,” Eco-voice reports. “Their images will connect Floridians to natural areas that they may not even know exist, let alone realize are in danger of being lost.”
