What LINC Does

Directs and Supports Programs about Natural and Cultural Heritage Issues that Need Attention

LINC’s current focus includes the Florida Forever Calendar and Exhibit Program, Greater Everglades Conservation Atlas, Gulf Coast Fishermen Project, and publicity and documentation that support the Florida Wildlife Corridor.

Serves as a Fiscal Agent for Projects that Serve LINC’s Mission

LINC may serve as a fiscal agent as a means to further its mission while assisting people who otherwise may not be eligible to receive funding for their art or communications projects. The ArtsLINC program serves as a main source for contacts for such projects.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, LINC is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions and can offer its non-profit status as a means for qualified projects to receive support. In addition, under such a partnership, LINC provides mentorship, website and newsletter publicity, help with public relations and marketing efforts, and access to a community of other artists and professional communicators—and all this for a low, five percent administrative fee.

Expands Media Coverage of Conservation Issues

By producing high-quality art with a credible message, LINC works to increase public awareness of focal conservation issues through the mainstream media. Newspapers, magazines, websites, blogs and social media are all enhanced by LINC’s communications and art productions.

LINC is designed to add value to existing environmental and cultural organizations—to help their messages resonate with their own, and broader, audiences.

Newspapers and magazines that have promoted LINC programs and utilized LINC images include Bay Soundings Magazine, Charlotte Sun, Florida Monthly Magazine, Florida Today, Florida Trend, Gainesville Magazine, Gainesville Sun, Jacksonville Magazine, Jacksonville Times Union, Lakeland Ledger, Orlando Magazine, Spacecoast Living Magazine, St. Petersburg Times, Tallahassee Democrat, Tampa Bay Magazine, Palatka Daily News, and Panama City News Herald.
